Creativity & Culinary Delights @ Your Doorstep

In recent years, many people have been flocking to Ypsilanti for the cultural movements and advancements.

Ypsi houses SPUR, an art incubator that supports writers, painters, musicians, graphic artists and other various arts.  Their creativity has inspired handmade and indie art festivals like the Shadow Art and D.I.Ypsi Art Festivals; that can only be found in Ypsilanti.

The music scene in Ypsi is growing as well.  With more coffee houses opening and some cafes welcoming performances in their establishments.  Folk, Garage, Rap, Pop and Country are on the rise.

Homebrewing Beer is now becoming a large movement in the area and many folks are wanting to share their craft.  Many breweries are rising up in the area, drawing in connoisseurs from surrounding areas.

Ypsilanti is also welcoming innovative companies such as Solar Ypsi and Growing Hope.  Growing Hope is dedicated to improving lives and communities through gardening and healthy food access.  They are also very active in improving our community Farmer’s markets, and offer programs and educational materials while doing so.  SPARK is a business incubator that has drawn many innovation based businesses to the area.
