Ypsilanti

Creativity & Culinary Delights @ Your Doorstep

In recent years, many people have been flocking to Ypsilanti for the cultural movements and advancements.

Their creativity has inspired popular handmade and indie art festivals like the twice yearly DIYpsi Art Festival; that can only be found in Ypsilanti.

The music scene in Ypsi is growing as well.  With more coffee houses, craft breweries, and cafes welcoming performances in their establishments like Ziggy's and the Ypsi Alehouse in downtown Ypsi and 734 Brewery and Cultivate in Depot Town.  Folk, Garage, Rap, Pop and Country are on the rise.

Craft beer is becoming a large movement in the area and many folks are wanting to share their craft.  Many breweries are rising up in the area, drawing in connoisseurs from surrounding areas, including our hometown kombucha brewer Unity Vibrations.

Ypsilanti is also welcoming innovative organizations such as Solar Ypsi and Growing Hope.  Growing Hope is dedicated to improving lives and communities through gardening and healthy food access.  They are also very active in improving our community Farmer’s markets, and offer programs and educational materials while doing so.  SPARK is a business incubator that has drawn many innovation based businesses to the area.
