“I have loved living here! The office staff is extremely helpful, and the maintenance staff is FAST! Our refrigerator broke recently, and maintenance was at my door within 20 minutes of my sending the request, and we had a new fridge within a day. Stacie is very helpful and one of the nicest apartment staffers I have ever met. I would stay forever if I could take Flo-Mar with me. As it is, I am extremely sad to be leaving. You’ll like it here, I promise.”

“I was hamstrung into finding an apartment on my own at the last minute due to a roommate backing out. I looked at Flo-Mar first and I’m glad I did. These guys are a class act . . . the amenities included are great: free heat, free internet, beautiful apartment. The office staff was always helpful and friendly (even when I was a little late on the rent once or twice ;). When I say you get what you pay for, it really holds true here. The maintenance crew is top-notch. Oftentimes repairs were done within a few hours of requesting them. My dishwasher failed a few months into my lease and the next day I had a brand new one . . . can’t beat that. I got the last apartment available in the building (119 Perrin) and it was fantastic when I moved in. A few days later they asked me if I’d like some ceiling fans and that evening I was enjoying my newly found airflow . . . The building itself deserves a mention here -- it’s a mid-70s (I think) brick building and the walls are plenty thick. I never had a problem with noise from my neigbors and they never reported a problem with me despite having a pretty beefy sound system I like to crank occasionally . . . All in all, great people to work with and very nice units. I’m glad I lived there.”

“The house was amazing. The maintenance staff was the best I’ve ever dealt with in Ypsi . . . They never waited more than a few hours when something went bad in our apartment (which wasn’t often), and quite a few times they were able to send someone out immediately. If I didn’t graduate, I totally would have renewed.”

“I am very sad to be moving away from Flo-Mar . . . I’ve lived with Flo-Mar for the past two years, and it has been a fantastic experience . . . Their maintenance staff has always been very prompt . . . The apartments are cute, unique and quiet . . . It’s very well kept, the walls are very thick and soundproof, and everything is in great shape . . . I have always felt safe with Flo-Mar. Everything is well lit, and the apartments I am in are in a very safe area . . . If you tell the staff safety is a concern, they’ll work with you to find the safest apartments they have. I can’t recommend this company enough, they are fantastic!”

“Lived there for 6 years . . . Staff treats you like a person and not just another unit / number / customer / problem. Always prompt in addressing my issues and concerns and they value good and respectable residents. You will also see the landlord around here and there because he (and his staff) are invested in making sure that residents are satisfied. They performed upgrades to my apartment while I was there but at times rent was even lowered. Free heat, and internet. What else do you want. I now live in a larger complex and truly miss the personable attention that I got at Flo-Mar. Further Flo-Mar was much cheaper with higher quality housing and better amenities . . . I would have easily done another 6 with Flo-Mar . . .”

“Best landlord I’ve ever had! Whenever I have a problem (which almost never happens), it gets fixed immediately. A few weeks ago my dishwasher stopped working. I submitted a work order request and in one day got a new dishwasher!!! The apartments are very well maintained. I love the flowers! Common areas are always clean!”

“Move in was super smooth, they made sure it was well cleaned. The rent is affordable for the place and type of apartment even close to campus. I cannot say enough about the staff in the office as well as maintenance staff. . . I would recommend them to anyone, and I have! . . Very courteous and friendly to everyone. We are moving out of state and I hope my next landlord is as reliable as Flo-Mar’s! . . Also, the landscaping is extremely pretty and there is even a grill and picnic tables out back. Very cool.”

Thank you for helping me resolve my issues with DTE over the past week. Just when it seems that no one is willing to help out, you stepped up and stuck up for me. The reason I am so thankful is the fact that Flo-Mar is no longer my management company, but you still treated me as if I were a tenant. From previous experience, as soon as other management companies are not receiving money, they no longer are willing to help out past tenants like myself.
Once again your efforts are greatly appreciated by me; I wish you and Flo-Mar the best of luck in your futures.
